Get involved and help us shout about Torbay

The Torbay Place Champions is a way to bring together businesses, education, the public sector, the community and third sector, indeed all organisations. You know what an amazing story we have to tell, and we have such a lot to be proud of, but we all need to talk the place up, celebrate our successes; together we need to act as Champions for Torbay and get our story out there.

We are lucky in that the Bay already has many individuals and companies who are quietly great Champions for our wonderful Bay, who promote the place, speak up for it and are keen to help move it forward. We want to build on their fantastic contribution and we want more of them, so we can create a powerful and compelling ‘team Torbay’ approach.

What’s in it for me as a resident or my organisation or business?

What’s in it for me as a resident or my organisation or business?

At our regular meetings you will be able to hear about new initiatives, developments and success stories from the people that are making them happen.

Being a champion means you will also get a regular newsletter letting you know about what is happening across the Bay. This will help you spread the word of the good work going on.

Alongside this you will be able to create relationships that will benefit you and Torbay, influence and learn about the place, act as a spokesperson for it and perhaps develop initiatives with each other.

You will also have access to dedicated marketing materials to help you act as a salesforce for Torbay. This includes:

  • a growing image library
  • a full design toolkit enabling use of the new visual language to complement your corporate materials
  • access to a ‘pitch pack’ that you can use in any presentations you are giving, either internally or external to the Bay.
